Brandon, a Cape Breton County hockey alum, began coaching with the U13 AAA team before moving up to the Sydney Rush U18 Major program. After relocating to Halifax, he coached the Bedford Blues U13 AAA team and joined Hockey Nova Scotia’s High Performance Program at the U14 level. A Cape Breton University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Sport, Physical Activity & Leadership, he has also worked as an instructor with various development programs and joined TNT Hockey Development in 2024.
